After 15 years in the Architectural/Engineering fields, I decided the time was right to create Paris Pet Crematory. When Paris Pet opened it's doors, it was with a commitment from me to offer a better alternative to people in need of pet crematory services.
The best part about my job is hearing from a client, that although their journey in losing their pet has been difficult, they look back on their experience with Paris Pet and tell me I made a difficult time in their lives a little easier.
Together with our children, D’Angelo, Todora and David, my wife Mary Sue and I have many rescue dogs, cats and horses that fill our lives with much laughter and companionship.

My name is Mark Lux and I am the owner and sole-operator at Paris Pet Crematory, established 2002. The idea of starting a pet crematory business was born in the early 1990s while I attended the North American Vet Conference with my wife, Mary Sue, who is a Veterinarian, and the owner of Westosha Veterinary Hospital. We recognized the need for a more personal cremation service in the Wisconsin / Illinois area. In the capacity of my wife’s veterinary hospital as well as our personal history with the loss of our own pets, I decided there should be something better out there than the industrialized and impersonal crematory services available at that time. Through my research and many reconnaissance missions, I found options for pet owners were extremely limited, and devoid of all sensitivity to the grief people feel when losing a beloved pet.
