With this cremation option your pet will be the only pet in the cremation chamber (same as a human cremation). Cremation takes place within 3 hours of intake. The following day your pet's cremains will be ready to return home. You will receive your pet's cremains in a standard urn or an urn of your choosing. The fee for this service starts at $183 for pets up to 35 pounds and the fee increases by pet weight. Transportation will be provided by you, unless you require our Transportation Services, which are charged at $100 per hour (depending on availability). We validate every cremation with a complete log from intake to completion. (All cremations are digitally recorded, the recording is available to you with request prior to cremation, request the Video Verification option). Note: Some crematories and veterinarians offer private cremations with multiple pets in the cremation chamber. Ask questions, get the service in writing, do your research and pay attention to the terminology. Wording such as "individually placed" or "privately placed into a compartment within the cremation chamber" do not define a Private Cremation Service.
